Describe the changes that the band has made through the years. Early years were profoundly different than their current folky pop sound. I am a fan that enjoys the music extremely but still hasn't gathered much actual info about them. Jaberwocky6669 00:30, 5 May 2006 (UTC)

I think the album "Tending the Rose Garden" is a compilation album that the Innocence Mission is on, but is not an Innocence Mission album per se. That should be looked into. Also I added information, but it seems to have gone under the discography section, so some of the info on the page is repeated (and some of the original info is not correct, e.g. they are not a four-piece band). --Essent 07:13, 27 June 2006 (UTC)

Tending the Rose Garden is not a compilation. It's the bands first EP recording that they released on LLIST Records in Lancaster, PA in 1986. The band's first appearance on a compilation album was Preliminary Hearing. - Keith Abbott 11/26/06

Concerning the change in their sound, as mentioned in my recent edits, one of the biggest changes was going from Larry Klein's keyboard-heavy, and sometimes guitar heavy sound to Glow's less dense production. Birds of My Neighborhood is even more acoustic. They started as a four piece band, but now there are three... Erik Thomas 3.14.08
