[edit] Meaning of Power

The article contains this sentence: "After successfully shutting down the Red Queen, The Hive loses power, unlocking all doors and rooms."

The word "power" is linked to a disambiguation page; there are many kinds of power. Can someone familiar with the movie or game look at the Power page and change the link to refer to the kind of power that is intended?

[edit] Fair use rationale for Image:UBCS mark.PNG

Image:UBCS mark.PNG is being used on this article. I notice the image page specifies that the image is being used under fair use but there is no explanation or rationale as to why its use in this Wikipedia article constitutes fair use. In addition to the boilerplate fair use template, you must also write out on the image description page a specific explanation or rationale for why using this image in each article is consistent with fair use.

Please go to the image description page and edit it to include a fair use rationale. Using one of the templates at Wikipedia:Fair use rationale guideline is an easy way to insure that your image is in compliance with Wikipedia policy, but remember that you must complete the template. Do not simply insert a blank template on an image page.

If there is other fair use media, consider checking that you have specified the fair use rationale on the other images used on this page. Note that any fair use images lacking such an explanation can be deleted one week after being tagged, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you.

[edit] Mixture of content

This article mixes content from the Video Game incarnation of RE and the Movie version, as it is I believe it to be a waste of space, the only unbrella building called The Hive is in the films (unless Cronicals has changed this?)  Doktor  Wilhelm  00:36, 2 February 2008 (UTC)

We'll talk about the films one then! LOTRrules (talk) 20:43, 2 February 2008 (UTC)
I'm sorry to be removing content from the article, I'm just trying to help put it back onto the right direction, other than that it seems like it's shaping up to be a rather good article.  Doktor  Wilhelm  20:50, 2 February 2008 (UTC)

[edit] GA fail

Quite frankly, I can see no way this can pass for a Good Article if there is no out of universe information. There is nothing about how the subject of this article was conceived and designed, let alone anything resembling a critical reaction. There aren't even fair use rationales for the non-free images. Basically, this article is little more than an extended plot summary, and needs a lot more work. --Lenin and McCarthy | (Complain here) 20:02, 2 February 2008 (UTC)

::Thanks for all your help by the way. Didn't realise I mixed it up. LOTRrules (talk) 20:44, 2 February 2008 (UTC)

[edit] GA fail (again)

I'm sorry, but there is no actual out-of-universe information outside of the lead section of this article. All it amounts too is essentially an oversized plot summary; it does not actually assert the subject's notability. The fact that you are resorting to self reference (using Wikipedia for a source) is also a bad sign. Please see a peer review or something if you want to improve this article in the future; as it stands now it seems like it wouldn't even survive an AFD. --Lenin and McCarthy | (Complain here) 04:20, 19 March 2008 (UTC)
