Exactly how are sources supposed to be cited? The article was written by one of the creators of the original tapes with firsthand knowledge. Teamgoon 11:58, 25 September 2006 (UTC)

  • Hi -- on Wikipedia, drawing on your personal involvement in an issue falls under the category of "original research," which is strongly discouraged. See Wikipedia:No original research for more details. I know it seems like it doesn't make sense, but the underlying principle is that everything that goes into a Wikipedia article should be independently verifiable. If there hasn't been any independent publication of material relating to the Happy Telephone calls then it shouldn't go into Wikipedia. Tim Pierce 03:03, 5 August 2007 (UTC)
