Note: Wikipedia's non-free content use policy almost never permits the use of non-free images (such as promotional photos, press photos, screenshots, book covers and similar) to merely show what a living person looks like. [edit] Notability? Spam?

Can someone clarify why this article has been flagged for lack of notability? A previous, more brief version was deleted for the same reason, so I re-wrote (I might mention several months ago) to add additional info, including information that seems to meet the notability guidelines (specifically, the winning of the Independent Music Award, not to mention airplay on several major radio stations). I'm also somewhat confused about the "spam" marking on the external links section. These are legitimate links for more information about the band and performances, none of which are primarily promotional any more than would be listed for another musician. If there is a quibble over specific links, it seems like the talk page is the place to discuss rather than listing them all as spam. Let's talk instead of just flagging what I see as the good start of an article. - Ctb 21:45, 21 March 2007 (UTC)
