Observation: Some sources say that the books take place half a million years in the future, while others say ten million. There aren't really any indications in the book itself, except that it's over 50000 years after the end of the Era of the Fourth Mental Structure (the present day being the Third). That should probably be mentioned in the article at some point; I'm just too lazy to do it myself. --DocumentN (talk) 06:02, 25 January 2008 (UTC)
