[edit] Encyclopeadia's should not contain weasel words

The God Channel has attracted criticism from some commentators; television satirist and critic Victor Lewis-Smith described it as "hour upon hour of hate-filled, rabble-rousing, homophobic bigotry, much of it featuring (and funded by) right-wing American evangelists" [1].

I moved the above from the article as it is factually incorrect to have in an encyclopaedia17:25, 23 February 2007 (UTC)Halesowen

I've reverted your changes because the text you have deleted is not "factually incorrect" as it is a published statement properly attributed to the source. Further, please go reread WP:AWW, the Wikipedia style guideline regarding "weasel words." Attribution of a source of a critical statement is not the use of "weasel words." I can only reaffirm what Mike said above. "Weasel words" do not mean what you think they do, read the linked article. Lewis-Smith is a noted commentator, and his opinion was presented as that of a third party. Fourohfour 13:45, 25 February 2007 (UTC)
