The Frosties Kid or Its Gonna Taste Great was an advertisement first shown in UK cinemas in May 2006, and later across the spectrum of domestic television during the late spring and early summer. Frosties is a Kelloggs brand marketed as Frosted Flakes in North America.
Advert Synopsis
The advert opens with the sight a clock striking 8 o'clock and the close up shows an Autonomen cascading cereal into a bowl. This startles the Frosties Kid into song. Cut to a shot of Frosties Kid slipping into his shoes, down the corridor accompanied by younger siblings.
Tony the Tiger appears and opens the door to the kitchen where the kids are eating. Tony the Tiger spins a bowl of cereal on a cake stand. Cut shot. A waitress collects a bowl of cereal from a similar cake stand and hands it to a customer. The Frosties Kid, Tony the tiger exit the breakfast cafe and walk past a nineteenth century Pirate, Frosties kid now collects a growing entourage and passes a teenager, sat on a bench with his date (accompanied by a bowl of Frosties).
The Frosties Kid swings from the beam of a tree and is transported to central Australia, walks through a desert and passes a guy with a long didgeridoo, We pass a poster which becomes animated showing a reptile eating Frosties on top of The Empire State Building. Suddenly we are transported to a rich looking house, a yellow car and a beautiful lady eating cereal and her car has the licence plate GR888.
Cut last scene. Frosties Kid is enjoined by all of the people he has met on his journey. It is a Mardi gras scene on a suburban street. The crescendo of the tag line starts "They're gonna taste great...” Frosties Kid steps on an escalator and he and Tony the Tiger rise above the masses. ENDS For the complete summary see BadAdverts

Tune of the Advert
Many advertisers borrow the tunes from other popular songs Vitalite/Me Israelite (Desmond Dekker). "It's Gonna Taste Great" owes its tune to Ian Dury and The Blockheads "I'm Gonna Be Straight" Ian Dury Lyrics.
