[edit] Requested move

This article has been renamed from The Forbidden Kingdom (movie) to The Forbidden Kingdom as the result of a move request.

The following discussion is an archived discussion of the proposal. Please do not modify it. Subsequent comments should be made in a new section on the talk page. No further edits should be made to this section.

The result of the proposal was Move as no other articles of this name so no dab required. Keith D (talk) 21:26, 8 January 2008 (UTC)

User: Califor1010 moved this article from The Forbidden Kingdom to The Forbidden Kingdom (movie). No other article entitled "The Forbidden Kingdom" has been created, so the original page is simply a redirect. Under Special:whatlinkshere/The Forbidden Kingdom there are 80 articles listed linking to the original article title.

I see no reason for the move and have requested it be moved back to The Forbidden Kingdom. If anyone else has any input, please post below. Gram123 (talk) 15:50, 4 January 2008 (UTC)

  • Support. I can't see any reason to disambiguate either --Lox (t,c) 09:04, 6 January 2008 (UTC)
  • Support. No disambiguation is required in this case, but I can see how some people might prefer to be systematic and disambiguate everything, and it's good for this newbie to be bold and have a go at doing it. Andrewa (talk) 05:41, 7 January 2008 (UTC)
The above discussion is preserved as an archive of the proposal. Please do not modify it. Subsequent comments should be made in a new section on this talk page. No further edits should be made to this section.

[edit] Page Change

I have slightly modified the layout of the page to include a Pre-Production, Production and post in the article, I have done this to incorporate the info from the former "Rumours" section as this was basically a Trivia section and they are now "discouraged". Hope you like - I could have added a lot more detail on the production from info on Jackie's diaries but don't currently have the time to go back and find it all. —Preceding unsigned comment added by Nathan.tay (talkcontribs) 20:57, 27 February 2008 (UTC)

Question, is it possible to get some actual Critic's reviews for this page. I mean, honestly, fan sites are great but how about a review from an expert? I'm not saying take out the fan reviews, just that we add some expertise in that section. Sagittarius Flame (talk) 18:50, 8 May 2008 (UTC)

[edit] Teaser poster images

Those teaser poster images are going to need some rationale to justify their use in this article. See the rationale on the infobox image (here) for an example of the sort of justification required. Gram123 (talk) 13:12, 28 February 2008 (UTC)

[edit] Added "Plot" Tag to the Summary

The summary needs to be a summary, not a complete run-down of everything that happens in the movie. So, I added a plot tag. MastaFighta (talk) 00:29, 25 April 2008 (UTC)

[edit] See also

I remove the section "See also" (Jianghu) because I think it has nothing in common with this fantasy (and a little kungfu) film. RBD (talk) 01:27, 20 May 2008 (UTC)

I have replaced it because Jianghu is the underworld society in which martial artists, monks, bandits, etc live in. It is relevant to the page. --Ghostexorcist (talk) 10:23, 20 May 2008 (UTC)
No way! You may add some films like Come Drink with Me, Drunken Master, Shaolin Temple (1982 film) and The 36th Chamber of Shaolin to which this film refers, not Jianghu. Maybe you misunderstood the fantasy background of The Forbidden Kingdom with realistic and bloody ones of Hong Kong's kungfu films. Please regard this good review. Thank you.
