imdb.com's cast listing for The Flintstones indicates that Halle Berry's character was named Rosetta Stone... which website contains the error? --Surprise of the Century 08:07, 5 July 2006 (UTC)

about this fact: The film's main title comes out of the clouds with a chorus singing it, an obvious homage to the famous opening sequence of The Simpsons, the first successful prime-time animated series since The Flintstones. Interestingly enough, a movie version of The Simpsons wiil be released to theaters in summer 2007. In my opinion,the last sentence about The simpsons movie is completly irelevent and should be removed.

The article claims that this turkey was a box office hit. That sounds bogus to say the least. It does seems to have legitimate sources to back that claim, so despite it blatantly contradicting what I remember, I won't dispute that point. What I will dispute is this article bias. The negative reaction from critics and the audience in general to this ungodly mess of a movie was overwhelming, and that's a claim I *can* back up with links to several, several movie reviews. The article currently says: "When the Flintstones arrive at the theater, the logo has the 1956 Revue jingle." What is the "1956 Revue jingle"?

By the way, there is a comment above questioning whether The Flintstones was really a box office hit. Well, it was the 5th highest grossing movie of the year it was released; see Box Office Mojo. --Metropolitan90 (talk) 18:09, 25 December 2007 (UTC)

Fair enough, Metropolitan90. As I said earlier, I did noticed the reference links, so I think I can live with the article as it currently is. I questioned this movie's box office success based on the poor reviews it got (and keeps getting) from critics and public alike. There is precedent for movies both criticaly reviled and commercialy successful, mind you, but this one somehow doesn't seem to fit that pattern.200.77.7.173 (talk) 22:31, 25 December 2007 (UTC)Corrigiendo Nomás.

I notice the image page specifies that the image is being used under fair use but there is no explanation or rationale as to why its use in this Wikipedia article constitutes fair use.
