[edit] It aired on YTV

So don't get any ideas in deleting the page. 99.226.44.161 (talk) 03:24, 5 January 2008 (UTC)

I can confirm that now. Derekloffin (talk) 07:49, 5 January 2008 (UTC)
I think we can all confirm that now. Rau J16 22:37, 6 January 2008 (UTC)

[edit] Random Editing

Someone without an account is putting stupid names after "Zuko" at the beinning of the page, and changing the headings in the page to stupid names. I suggest we lock the page so that only those with an account can edit it. That will prevent anonymous users from vandlizing the page. INGO 27 (talk) 21:57, 5 January 2008

Done. Its been semi-protected, not because of that, but because 138 edits in one day is a bit excessive. Just wished it lasted a bit longer. Rau J16 01:09, 6 January 2008 (UTC)

[edit] Sun Warriors

I have inserted information about the Sun Warriors similarities to the Mesoamerican Pre-Columbian Civilizations. The information about the lack of connection between Asian and Mesoamerican architecture is due to the fact that they had separate evolutions. I read some books about that, which I don't have at hand (I studied Architecture by the way). But I don't encourage anyone to simply buy my word on this, and in case someone might find any reliable reference in the internet that clearly states this fact, I will be glad to see it in the article. If any contradictory theory in this regard is found (which I sincerely doubt), please let's us first discuss it here together. Feel free to change some mistakes in the use of English. --Diego 16:25, 5 January 2008 (UTC)

I like it, its the first time I've seen something like that on one of these articles, I hope it survives the merger. Rau J16 01:05, 6 January 2008 (UTC)

Thank you for your appreciation Rauj16! The last part of the second paragraph has been messed up by removing unproperly information, although the links to other articles were welcomed. Well, I have reinserted it, now with some references that seem reliable. Please, help me someone with the reference section. I'm still learning html language.--Diego 20:31, 6 January 2008 (UTC) —Preceding unsigned comment added by Diegocunha (talk • contribs)

I do not know much yet either, but im a fast learner, and this page helped a lot for this kind of task. Rau J16 22:36, 6 January 2008 (UTC)

[edit] Episode Names

The names for the upcoming episodes haven't been confirmed or released. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 71.168.248.193 (talk) 19:30, 5 January 2008 (UTC)

[edit] PoP reference

Should the obvious Prince of Persia homage(Zuko running along the wall over the pit of spikes) be mentioned in the production notes? —Preceding unsigned comment added by 67.61.105.189 (talk) 23:52, 5 January 2008 (UTC)

How is that an "obvious" homage, that technique has been around far longer than the last twenty years. Rau J16 00:23, 6 January 2008 (UTC)
It would be obvious to anyone who has played the late PoP trilogy, maybe not to everyone. The running along the wall technique was frequently used by the protagonist and the pit of spikes is a staple of PoP games. It may not be obvious but it seems to be a homage to PoP. Max Corbetti (talk) 01:17, 6 January 2008 (UTC)
Yea, I've played them, but I highly doubt that they referenced a video game. Seems much more plausible that they referenced a martial art. Rau J16 01:23, 6 January 2008 (UTC)
Ok well I just thought that it was worth pointing out. We need a third opinion. Max Corbetti (talk) 01:30, 6 January 2008 (UTC)
Yes, we do. And it was bound to be brought up eventually, better to resolve it now, rather than later. Rau J16 01:32, 6 January 2008 (UTC)
It does not need to taken care of immediately and it should not be left to our arbitary decisions. Other will come and discuss it eventually. More than likely when it airs in America. Max Corbetti (talk) 01:40, 6 January 2008 (UTC)
Yea, we United Staters are OCD like that. Rau J16 01:45, 6 January 2008 (UTC)

[edit] Way too long

The plot description should not be blow-by-blow. I've edited it from 1140 words to 488. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 69.51.72.62 (talk) 00:16, 6 January 2008 (UTC)

cool, cool. now it even fits in the rules, but i give it three hours before it is back over 700. Rau J16 00:24, 6 January 2008 (UTC)

yes, whoever is contributing to the plot outlines seems to think every little detail is encyclopedia-worthy. I eat food! 11:43, 6 January 2008 (UTC)

448 words total. Rau J16 03:29, 7 January 2008 (UTC)

[edit] Protection

Requested page protection (and got it) because 138 edits in one day is ridiculous. Rau J16 01:04, 6 January 2008 (UTC)

[edit] Title Card Image

Can someone put the title card image on there? Thanks! --Neilmodi (talk) 02:37, 6 January 2008 (UTC)

if you can do the fair use, here it is. Rau J16 02:58, 6 January 2008 (UTC)

[edit] Menus

Episode pages only use the smaller episode navigation menu, they don not use the second "Avatar" navigation menu. --68.81.70.65 (talk) 13:25, 6 January 2008 (UTC)

That doesnt mean that it cannot include it, many articles have two 'menus' as you put it. Rau J16 22:17, 6 January 2008 (UTC)

[edit] prometheus

when they first saw the eternal flame, they told a similar story of Prometheus shall that be a tidbit too? J1j2j3 (talk) 02:50, 7 January 2008 (UTC)

Who is Prometheus? And what was the story? Rau J16 03:01, 7 January 2008 (UTC)

[edit] The Red and Blue dragon

I think we ought to add a bit in the Series Continuity section about the Dragons. Zuko had a dream about red and blue dragons in one of the earlier episodes, which were probably referencing this. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 24.6.89.5 (talk) 03:54, 7 January 2008 (UTC)

Well, first of all, it'd be the other way around; and, if you can write out a good wording for it, i'll add it. But im not going to do it myself. Rau J16 04:07, 7 January 2008 (UTC)
The Dragons were there before he had the dream, so his dream was a vision of things to come. That's why I said that his dream references the dragons in this episode. As for the wording, how about something like this?
In "The Earth King" Zuko dreams of a red and blue dragon identical in appearance to Ran and Sha.
Also I think we should mention that in this episode it's revealed that slaying a dragon earns you the honorary title "Dragon," and that Iroh is called "The Dragon of the West" occasionally.24.6.89.5 (talk) 04:23, 7 January 2008 (UTC)
I think that wording works, we will tweak the spelling as it becomes available(assuming that that is wrong). But the dragons are irrelevant to Iroh's nickname, he has already explained how he got it. Rau J16 05:03, 7 January 2008 (UTC)
The dragons in this episode do resemble the ones in Zukos dream a lot, but if you look closely, there are some differences, the ones in his dream had a beard of sorts, something Ran and Shaw (dunno how it's spelled) don't have, and they lacked the fang Ran and Chaw had, they have arched fangs, the ones in Zukos dream didn't have arched fangs. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 201.37.60.119 (talk) 15:54, 7 January 2008 (UTC)
