I remember reading this book (and still might have it somewhere to check on my facts) and I recall that Ellery "solved" the murder back at the end of the party, but refrained from revealing the solution because he believed that someone was being framed and why would the murderer frame themselves?Hx823 (talk) 23:03, 6 March 2008 (UTC)
