Contents

[edit] Collective effort

I think this article could benefit from some description of the collective nature of much of Warhol's art practice. His "assistants" and collaborators. Design 00:49, 26 January 2006 (UTC)

This article had a couple of small mistakes such as saying the silver factory was in the seveties, not the sixties, and not really describing the nature of the silver decorations which were made by Billy Name mostly influenced by his heavy amphetamine use. 189.135.34.94 01:55, 26 February 2007 (UTC)louisa renero

[edit] Jean Michaekl Basquiat

He shouldn't be in the list; while he had a close friendship with Warhol it was during the 80's long after the Factory had closed it's doors. Even the disastorous film Basquiat shows he had his own studio in a basement.

[edit] GA Fail

Article has no references. M3tal H3ad 04:17, 31 March 2007 (UTC)

[edit] Criminal Intent?

The heading "criminal intent" for the section on various crimes that occurred at the Factory seems an odd choice and not very appropriate for an encyclopedia article. Perhaps someone was just trying to be overly hip, or perhaps it's a literary or cultural reference and I just don't "get it"... ? - Mark Dixon 15:03, 10 May 2007 (UTC)

[edit] WikiProject class rating

This article was automatically assessed because at least one WikiProject had rated the article as start, and the rating on other projects was brought up to start class. BetacommandBot 14:17, 9 November 2007 (UTC)

[edit] Sticky Fingers album cover

I'm pretty sure the crotch featured on the cover of Sticky Fingers is that of Joe Dallesandro. At least, according to the article on Joe, it is. Does anyone have any references for this? --Eastlaw (talk) 08:07, 12 January 2008 (UTC)

[edit] Fair use rationale for Image:Thecouch.jpg

Image:Thecouch.jpg is being used on this article. I notice the image page specifies that the image is being used under fair use but there is no explanation or rationale as to why its use in this Wikipedia article constitutes fair use. In addition to the boilerplate fair use template, you must also write out on the image description page a specific explanation or rationale for why using this image in each article is consistent with fair use.

Please go to the image description page and edit it to include a fair use rationale. Using one of the templates at Wikipedia:Fair use rationale guideline is an easy way to insure that your image is in compliance with Wikipedia policy, but remember that you must complete the template. Do not simply insert a blank template on an image page.

If there is other fair use media, consider checking that you have specified the fair use rationale on the other images used on this page. Note that any fair use images lacking such an explanation can be deleted one week after being tagged, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you.
