Hello, I am a computer illiterate...can someone please fix, and then tell me why in the suburbs surrounding The Entrance part Blue Bay is not centred. Many, many thanks Todd661 04:34, 31 July 2006 (UTC)

Because it was spelt "centre" rather than "center". These things were designed by Americans.. --Ptcamn 04:53, 31 July 2006 (UTC)

[edit] Establishment Dates

1991 is incorrect for the Entrance (and Budgewoi). This is because of inaccuracies in the records of the Geographical Names Board of New South Wales. It seems all dates are set at 1991. Drawing dates by a bot (or whatever it is called causes these problems on all the Central Coast Dates.

Even the board states on their own site:

On 15 Dec 1910, a receiving office for the Post Office was opened under the name `Karagi` an Aboriginal word for `the entrance`, `the door` or `the way in`. It was applied to the point on the south bank of the channel at the ocean. It was not popular. On 15 Nov 1911 `The Entrance` was adopted. (Pratt E, `Place Names of the Central Coast`)

With this in mind, I respectively suggest that the establishment names be deleted on all of the Central Coast suburb pages until a more accurate reference can be found.

Prince Edward Theatre - The re-opening date is put at 1981 but I am pretty sure this is wrong. I was working in the town at that time and knew the man who re-opened it. I am pretty sure it was 1982. Guess it could be confirmed with licenses etcOsakadan 09:50, 27 November 2006 (UTC)
