[edit] Citations

Can anyone provide citations for the names and the time-period as presented in this article ? Miriam Lichtheim has Khun-anup, Nemtynakht and Rensi as the names. Also story is set in Ninth/Tenth dynasty around Herakleopolis. See also [1] & [2] Markh 23:04, 29 May 2007 (UTC)

The names used in this article are those used originally by Petrie in his Egyptian Tales--I think he called it the "Peasant and the Workmen." Why not just change it and cite Lichtheim (who uses the same names as Parkinson actually)? — Zerida 05:05, 30 May 2007 (UTC)
Will do, just didn't want to change them without checking – I thought it was probably old translations. This is a great 'tale' and has so much more to it than this article suggests. Will try and do it justice. Markh 08:46, 30 May 2007 (UTC)

Please feel free to make it better; I did what I could with the few sources I could find. If you can please post here information I would love to read new sources. I will continue looking for sources and will continue helping the Ancient Egypt Project... Zulu, King Of The Dwarf People (71.196.86.109) 22:28, 24 June 2007 (UTC)
