From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
This page needs a section on Oblivion modding tools. 193.1.172.104 16:04, 9 December 2006 (UTC)Ludolud
Can somebody write about the Construction Set for Oblivion, and what improvements have been made (individual category for interiors etc.) and about the CS 1.2? 82.28.33.168 13:49, 06 May 2007
- Added a few links to development tools which extend TES CS functionality. I also added an external link to the homepage of Tamriel Rebuilt, homepage of the biggest Elder Scrolls genre based project. It features a page which contains all the required development tools in addition to the Construction Set. Andrei Ristea 16:58, 6 May 2007 (UTC)
[edit] .ini changes
"This approach comes with the disadvantage that players wishing to use these modifications must make changes to Morrowind's or Oblivion's ini file, either manually or through a third party program such as BSAreg." this is simply not true. (not with TES 3 at least) Ini changes are nessicairy for the running of Mods no mater how they were installed. THe name is added to the bottom of the .ini file if the mod is set to run. But this can be done (and is normally done) by using the inbuilt "Data files" tool, which is part of the start up process. What is the athour of this section going on about? --Oxinabox 03:31, 28 September 2007 (UTC)
