Talk:The Eagle's Eye

From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

This is a notable school newspaper and should not be deleted. It has one dozens of state and national level awards. Also of note is the fact that it is created by students at Akins High School which is a majority economically disadvantaged, majority minority school. Most of the other newspapers in Texas that receive the honors that The Eagle's Eye receives are from affluent schools.

Okay, now to the article. The article may not meet the notability guidelines. I do see it has awards, but I am not sure these awards are notable, and make the subject notable. This is why I put a prod on it. -Carados (talk) 17:56, 16 December 2007 (UTC)

I think I may have fixed a few structural problems with the article and clarified it a little. It may help if someone finds out a bit more about the awards the paper has won, that way the last sentence could be improved somewhat. 75.64.224.137 (talk) 01:42, 2 January 2008 (UTC)
