Talk:The Description of the Human Body

From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

It isn't at all clear from this article how its title relates to its content. I'm guessing that "Description of the Human Body" is a book or something by Descartes, but I don't know that for sure. The article needs an opening sentnece which makes this clear. --Camembert

oh my god this a good

[edit] Harvey

(This was brought further by William Harvey. Harvey developed the idea of the circulation of the blood.)

How can this be if Harvey's On the Motion of the Heart and Blood in Animals was written in 1628, before Descartes began The Description of the Human Body?
