i think that Shirley Jacksons story of the Daemon lover should have its own article instead of just linking back to the article on the lottery. this is what i originally went searching on wikipedia for. I can't seem to find any further information on it on this site. However if someone has access to JSTOR maybe they can use them as a further reference... i'm almost tempted to go to the library and find more reviews of this 1 story by her but i would request some help from the more experienced writers, please.
