[edit] add trivia

This episode has alot of interesting bits and a trivia section would be sweet. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 128.101.253.195 (talk • contribs)

Yeah the classic christian ressurection imagery was pretty strong; uncovering bolders from the entrance of the [his brother's] tomb, the body not being found, and appearing resurrected. It wasn't exactly subtle, but it was amusing. There were others but I didn't go through it in detail. mrhappyhour Nov 04 2006

Sorry, but why was the caption 'The mysterious eyepatched man' (Or similar) changed to 'The mysterious "patchy"'? I don't mind, it just sounds a bit... Unwiki... --Arkracer 16:22, 7 November 2006 (UTC)

That's what the producers are calling him for now. [[1]] I'm not convinced that's the best way to refer to him in this sort of article. --Milo H Minderbinder 16:45, 7 November 2006 (UTC)
"Patchy" is his official role atm. I think it sounds cool personally. codu (t/c) 22:04, 24 November 2006 (UTC)

From my view isn't it obvious that the eye patch guy is Jack's father? —Preceding unsigned comment added by 88.108.237.135 (talk • contribs)

Considering that "eye patch guy" is a different actor, no. --Milo H Minderbinder 15:14, 11 December 2006 (UTC)

'Patchy' sounds best, anyway. --81.97.194.11 20:50, 15 December 2006 (UTC)

Well, it's been changed back. Oh well. --62.136.136.85 14:06, 4 February 2007 (UTC)

Concerning the info about the "black smoke" that can be heard between 23:00 - 23:10 - I've watched that scene, and I can't hear anything. So I think that "fact" is questionable. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 209.102.237.84 (talk) 04:44, 5 May 2008 (UTC)

[edit] Star Trek

There is a Star Trek TNG of the same title "Cost of Living". Maybe there is any similarity. helohe (talk) 22:32, 8 March 2007 (UTC)

[edit] Fair use rationale for Image:Thecostofliving.jpg

Image:Thecostofliving.jpg is being used on this article. I notice the image page specifies that the image is being used under fair use but there is no explanation or rationale as to why its use in this Wikipedia article constitutes fair use. In addition to the boilerplate fair use template, you must also write out on the image description page a specific explanation or rationale for why using this image in each article is consistent with fair use.

Please go to the image description page and edit it to include a fair use rationale. Using one of the templates at Wikipedia:Fair use rationale guideline is an easy way to insure that your image is in compliance with Wikipedia policy, but remember that you must complete the template. Do not simply insert a blank template on an image page.

If there is other fair use media, consider checking that you have specified the fair use rationale on the other images used on this page. Note that any fair use images lacking such an explanation can be deleted one week after being tagged, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you.
