Might be interesting to add info about how a natural scientist evaluated Poe's book, and placed it in the context of the science of the times. I read the Gould essay about 15 years ago, and don't have any bibliographic info on it... AnonMoos (talk) 08:50, 19 February 2008 (UTC)
Ah, that makes more sense. I didn't know who Gould was so I just assumed it was someone just making a brief mention of it. If we find a copy of it, it might make for a good start for a critical response section or something. --Midnightdreary (talk) 15:00, 19 February 2008 (UTC)
