[edit] Separate articles needed

Separate articles are needed for Larry and Lorrie, since Larry in particular gained notability separate from the duo. 23skidoo 13:44, 8 October 2006 (UTC)

[edit] Ambiguous "they"?

Does the "they" in "They were regular performers on ..." (currently last sentence of 1st 'graph) refer to immediate antecedents Larry (Collins) and Joe Maphis, to Lorrie and Larry, or to all three? PappyK 22:55, 18 June 2007 (UTC)

[edit] Lorrie's retirement

I have removed the statement saying that Lorrie retired at age 19, because there is clear evidence no such thing happened (or if she did step away from music, it was only temporary), at least in the early 1960s. Youtube, for example, has several clips up right now of an early-20s Collins Kids performing on Star Route, a Canadian music series, in 1963. Not to mention a clip of them doing Ticket to Ride in 1965. And the listings show they appeared on TV shows as late as 1967. Lorrie might well have retired after that (Larry moved into songwriting, as we know), but to say she retired at 19 is simply not supported by the evidence. 23skidoo (talk) 17:54, 29 May 2008 (UTC)
