[edit] This really needs more sources

As it is, the series' main claim to fame seems to be that some guy who wrote about it in his blog. It needs to explain and prove its importance.--Drat (Talk) 04:54, 1 April 2006 (UTC)

I've been meaning to add more to this, but I've had very little time lately. [1] is a nice feature article on the group. The Codex also did well with the 2005 Rockets on Prisoner Awards [2], winning "Best Action Sequence", "Best Halo 2 Movie", "Best Editing, Sound, and FX", "Best Musical Score", "Best Screenplay", and "Best Movie of 2004-2005". Unfortunately, that's pretty much the extent of what I can find outside of blogs and forums. — TKD::Talk 05:43, 1 April 2006 (UTC)
I've added some info about the awards into the lead. — TKD::Talk 06:52, 1 April 2006 (UTC)

A couple of things to add. The "guy" who wrote about The Codex in his blog isn't just "some guy" he is the Editor-in-Chief of Wired magazine, one of the premiere publications on technology in the US, and his blog isn't just a personal blog. It is a professional blog which he is using to develop his book about the Longtail economic theory due for release this summer.
Also, The Codex writer/director, Alexander Winn was profiled in a bio piece by MTV which aired on their university channel in November. It was a part of thier Gamer's Ball series. The spot was called Machinima Master, and it was about Alexander Winn and the making of The Codex. Gaialight 02:53, 19 April 2006 (UTC)

[edit] Where'd it all go?

I stopped by this particular page several months ago and, with the completion of the series, it was chock full of info. It had all the character bios from the web-site, episode lists and description, etc. Now, it's all gone. I see that there's an independent page just for the episode list, but what about the characters? Why was it all removed? JBK405 22:59, 12 July 2006 (UTC)

The user who removed them did not use an edit summary, but their summary for a previous edit suggested they believe this info should be rewritten in our own words. I agree with this, as copying the info wholesale from the site is copyvio.--Drat (Talk) 10:02, 13 July 2006 (UTC)
