I love cinematic orchestra remixes 99-2000.

[edit] Alex James

There is some suggestion that former member, Alex James is the same person as Alex James (musician) from the band Blur - seems unlikely and I can't find any official confirmation - does anyone know for definite? Gram 15:29, 11 November 2005 (UTC)

[edit] "new album"

"According to Ninja Tune sources, The Cinematic Orchestra are currently recording a new album that is due for released in the summer of 2006."

This most definitely needs a source. Considering it's almost september, I've removed this line as without a source it's just speculation. -- MiG 17:25, 24 August 2006 (UTC)

According to this fan page: http://www.geocities.com/cinematic_orchestra/News.htm an interview with Tom Chant revealed that the album is being worked on, with an estimated release of late 2006, but it goes on to say the latest rumours suggest it's more likley to be March / April 2007. [edit] Promotion, not Wiki !! =

This reads like record promotion, not like Wiki. AK

That's because an anonymous editor copypasted the promo text for Ma Fleur from the Ninja Tune site in its entirety. I've removed it, as the tone is POV (being a promo text, heh). Unless you're doing a short citation (including a reference), don't copypaste text lads. -- MiG 08:46, 11 June 2007 (UTC)
