The sentence "Its motto 'To serve the national city and through it the nation' reflects the importance its original owners placed on serving the needs of what was then a town focused around the Federal Parliament." is a direct copy-and-paste job from The Canberra Times' website, so I've removed it, pending a re-write. What is the political slant of this newspaper (from a Canadian)?

It's generally called 'left-wing', although it references a lot of views from both right and left sides (obviously being a paper in an area that contains politicians, it will contain a lot of political discussion...) angelofdarkness 15:08, 27 June 2007 (UTC)
