It's a little unfair to blame Ridcully for the Bursar's condition. The Bursar appears to have been driven insane by the events of Reaper Man; specifically, the moment when the sentient compost is attacking the wizards. He shows little sign of insanity before this incident but after the line "It's coming under the door! It's coming under the DOOR!", he has plainly been rendered unhinged.

The events of Reaper Man are certainly a contributing factor (although even before the compost heap incident, the Senior Wrangler was making excuses to Ridcully about the man's nerves). The fact he's in an even worse condition by the start of Lords & Ladies is firmly down to Mustrum, though. Daibhid C 17:09, 24 July 2006 (UTC)

There is a quote or something about it a little. He sees a fat man when he looks in the mirror, it's Ridcully standing behind him, shouting. 125.238.221.39 (talk) 14:48, 16 December 2007 (UTC)
