Talk:The Beatmen

From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

Please don't delete this page, it is to be an article about a slovak rock band The Beatmen.

It will be deleted if sources are not added to show how this band is notable. -FisherQueen (talk · contribs) 11:01, 5 October 2007 (UTC)

Then I would like you to help me with proving this. I am a new used here. That what I wrote in the article is not sufficient yet? If not, please help me how I should prove it. —Preceding unsigned comment added by BohaVasho (talkcontribs) 14:26, 5 October 2007 (UTC)

All you need to do is link to three newspaper or magazine articles about this band. In English is preferred, but if the best sources are not in English, you can still use them. -FisherQueen (talk · contribs) 15:02, 5 October 2007 (UTC)

Where should I put these links? And please, how can I link this site with a slovak article about the same band. You know, that down there on the left would be a link "slovak"? Thank you —Preceding unsigned comment added by BohaVasho (talkcontribs) 15:06, 5 October 2007 (UTC)

If the links should be put here, here they are, the links to internet sites' articles, where there is a referrence to the band, however, there are no in english:

This is a biography about Dezo Ursiny http://music.box.sk/news.php3?id=4276

Here are excerpts from a book about Slovak big beat, with no direct reference to the band name, but with a lot of references to the band members. http://www.slovensky-bigbit.sk/uryvky.htm

Here's a newspaper article referring to a TV programme http://www.sme.sk/c/3517917/Slovensky-bigbit.html

Here's a TV advertisement to a programme, where the band would be mentioned as well http://www.stv.sk/stv/press/slovensky-bigbit/

Here's an article about the band on Slovak wikipedia: http://sk.wikipedia.org/wiki/Beatman —Preceding unsigned comment added by BohaVasho (talkcontribs) 16:06, 5 October 2007 (UTC)
