[edit] Organisation of the articles

I propose to move this article to The Animals of Farthing Wood (book) and move The Animals of Farthing Wood (series) to this page. This page would act as an introduction to the series as a whole, with links to pages for the books and the telvision series. Since Farthing Wood is more than just the original book, I would say that the "main" article should be the overall guide to the entries series of Farthing Wood.

[edit] Award

My copy of this book (published 1993 by Mammoth Books) says on the back that it was the winner of the Arts Council National Book Award. Unfortunately, I can find no dates of lists to back up this claim. Anyone got any ideas? I've tried the British Council for Arts --Timata1705 20:18, 13 July 2007 (UTC)

[edit] Organisation of project

Having just checked, I can offer to cover four of the books in the series in order to expand this article: The Animals of Farthing Wood, In the Grip of Winter, Fox's Feud and The Fox Cub Bold. I can either go through each of these, leaving the rest to someone else who actually owns copies, or I can cover just one or two. In addition, I can hopefully expand the section on the magazines as well (including a scanned image of the first issue if that is OK by copyright regulations. Also have audio tapes for first book, and can list which members of the cast of characters are involved in these. Just a few suggestions, in addition to expanding the TV Series article. --Timata1705 20:30, 13 July 2007 (UTC)

Actually, I think that there are pages for each book, this article being for the first book. I know for a fact that I started the article for In the Grip of Winter, but again I just haven't had the time to work on it. So I think that Fox's Feud and The Fox Cub Bold should each have their own articles as well. MelicansMatkin 15:34, 14 July 2007 (UTC)
Ok, I'll try and copy the template used for the Grip of Winter to do articles for those two, as well as adding to the character profiles.

[edit] Fair use rationale for Image:EscapeFromDangerWayToWhiteDeerPark.JPG

Image:EscapeFromDangerWayToWhiteDeerPark.JPG is being used on this article. I notice the image page specifies that the image is being used under fair use but there is no explanation or rationale as to why its use in this Wikipedia article constitutes fair use. In addition to the boilerplate fair use template, you must also write out on the image description page a specific explanation or rationale for why using this image in each article is consistent with fair use.

Please go to the image description page and edit it to include a fair use rationale. Using one of the templates at Wikipedia:Fair use rationale guideline is an easy way to insure that your image is in compliance with Wikipedia policy, but remember that you must complete the template. Do not simply insert a blank template on an image page.

If there is other fair use media, consider checking that you have specified the fair use rationale on the other images used on this page. Note that any fair use images uploaded after 4 May, 2006, and lacking such an explanation will be deleted one week after they have been uploaded, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you.
