[edit] Recent Interview
While trying to find a poster for The Spirit, I stumbled upon a recent (March 19th, 2007) article about the Amory Wars and the Second Stage Turbine Blade do-over. I wold add the information to the main page, but I'm a total Wikipedia noob, so I figured I'd leave it to you guys.
Here's the link: http://www.comicbookresources.com/news/newsitem.cgi?id=10047 209.102.154.184 23:45, 19 March 2007 (UTC)
[edit] speedy reinstated
I added the delete tag back after the article creator removed it. I placed the hangon tag in as a courtesy. Please don't remove them again. This is an article on an unpublished work and as such would usually be deleted. Richardjames444 17:53, 3 August 2006 (UTC)
[edit] wes abott still on hiatus?
i might be wrong, but was he not at comic con? i wasnt there, but i read on a lewsletter via email somethin aobut the signing days, and it listed when claudio would be where, but on certaindays it had either (wes abbot) or (christopher shy) afterwards. sorry, this just kinda bugged me.--Late Leo 23:36, 23 August 2006 (UTC)
[edit] see other entry
There is a sufficient treatment of this topic in the articles on Claudio Sanchez and The Bag On Line Adventures Richardjames444 18:44, 3 August 2006 (UTC)
[edit] Add something about the McCloud Story
I read somewhere that the McCloud story is a sort of prelude to the Amory Wars. Should this be added somewhere? Maybe it is, and I just missed it...in which case someone should probably gather some more info and put it somewhere toward the beginning of the article.
-- Yeah, I heard that too. If I remember correctly, Claudio confirmed it himself in some interview somewhere. Might wanna check Cobalt and Calcium though. Spike the Porcupine 02:41, 15 November 2006 (UTC)
-- Its not a prelude, technically. Its a parallel story. They never actually come across one another. Although they begin with the death of Jesse in Good Apollo, he is resurected on Earth after that keywork has long been destroyed. His story is a seperate one. It's also speculated that it takes place BEFORE the keywork is even made, saying he was resureted into the past [hard to follow, eh?] Either way, he is on Earth. Not Paris:Earth. but Earth. We're not sure of the date[generation] that it takes place. It could be present day, or a more backwater, Colonial era. Either way, its tricky. —Preceding unsigned comment added by StocktonDan (talk • contribs) 03:10, 24 April 2008 (UTC)
-- UGH didn't get to my point... Jesse is the story teller of the Amory wars while he is on Earth. He does not affect the story that has taken place, only retells it. —Preceding unsigned comment added by StocktonDan (talk • contribs) 03:14, 24 April 2008 (UTC)
[edit] Rewrote some parts of the document
See title, added to the document and re-arranged items, going to find sources sometime in the future.
[edit] Apollo
If you look on cobaltandcalcium.com, Claudio has stated that Apollo is "just a dog" not a codename for anyone. The code name theory is idle speculation.
[edit] Says who?
"Just to state something not stated above, some believe in the beginning of the 2nd album, In Keeping Secrets of Silent Earth: 3, the songs In Keeping Secrets... , Cuts Marked In The March of Men, and Three Evils, are dreams visioned by Claudio Kilgannon."
Am I the only one who thinks that this is someone's personal opinion? Just in the style it's written, and in the fact that there's no citation. I'll delete it in a few days if no one says anything. Lord GS-41 05:01, 10 March 2007 (UTC)

You're correct, that is just speculation.
Its speculation on how long the dream lasts but Claudio Kilgannon is confirmed to be asleep from the end of Second Stage Turbine Blade through The Ring in Return. Claudio Sanchez confirmed this and the info is on Cobalt: "A dream takes place with the ending of the song Neverender(SSTB) "cry yourself to sleep" and that is where this record begins. A character falls asleep in the last record and has a dream while the event of the SSTB progress to the end of CO&CA. The telephone ring…the ship sound…”hello apollo…where should i begin”…all play a role to a sort of dreamed reality. Basically, the dream is real." http://cobaltandcalcium.com/story/claudio-sanchez-posts-regarding-storyline/ —Preceding unsigned comment added by 76.123.97.142 (talk) 21:48, 18 March 2008 (UTC) sorry im a wikinoob
[edit] Category?
Worth making a category to tidy the Amory Wars entries up? Something like: "Category:Amory Wars"? (Emperor 03:02, 20 July 2007 (UTC))
- Yeah, I'll get on that - have a few things for the WikiProject, so I'll add that to it. ≈ The Haunted Angel 13:18, 20 July 2007 (UTC)

[edit] Merge the Miscellanea page.
Time for discussion!
Don't go just deleting the merge proposal without discussion this time, chaps.
Prove that you need a separate page for the fancruftgroan about Amory Wars.
Put it up to a vote instead of just deleting the proposal how boutcha? —The preceding unsigned comment was added by 65.24.135.214 (talk) 00:08, August 22, 2007 (UTC)
[edit] Dates needed
This article has very few dates. They should be added; the article should give the months and years most of these series are published, and most importantly, it should give the month and year that the first comic in the entire series came out. —Lowellian (reply) 18:24, 11 October 2007 (UTC)
[edit] Pentology?
I wanted to know if there was a reason this page keeps saying The Amory Wars is a five-part series (pentology). The Amory Wars only has four chapters. The first, as of yet, untold chapter, ...Turbine Blade (2), In Keeping Secrets... (3), and Good Apollo... (4). From Fear Through the Eyes of Madness and No World For Tomorrow collectively make up the fourth installment. So what's the deal? Phoenixmuffin (talk) 22:12, 15 December 2007 (UTC)
You are technically correct. Go ahead and change any mistakes you find. ≈ The Haunted Angel Review Me! 23:39, 15 December 2007 (UTC)
For the record, it was probably a mistake made by confusing the SSTB Part 1 as the Amory Wars [in whole]. That is a 5 part series. Not The Amory Wars. might wanna add that.StocktonDan (talk) 22:23, 23 April 2008 (UTC)
