[edit] Second paragraph possibly outdated

It appears to me that paragraph 3 (13th season now expected to air in the 2007-2008 season in addition to season 12 as result of the Writers strike), is in contradiction with the timeline given in paragaph 2, especially the time period for filming, whose timeframe (April-May)places it as earlist it could possibly broadcast would be in the summer 2008 season instead of the 2007-2008 fall-spring season. I think the timeframe for some of the events in the second paragraph is outdated in light that those references dates were pre-strike. Jon (talk) 02:13, 19 November 2007 (UTC)

  • Are there any big location rumors? Sorry I cant sign. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 76.252.4.81 (talk) 20:49, 18 February 2008 (UTC)

[edit] Memphis Grand Start

Start : Leg 1 Memphis, TennesseeCaracas, Venezuela (view CBS official site)

  • Leg 2 Venezuela → ?
  • Leg 3 Unknown
  • Leg 4 ?
  • Leg 5 ?
  • Leg 6 ?
  • Leg 7 ?
  • Leg 8 ?
  • Leg 9 ?
  • Leg 10 ?
It is impossible CBS will announce the location for start line while no official premiere date has been claim by CBS itself. --Aleenf1 11:39, 30 March 2008 (UTC)
It should be still standard 13 single legs? -- 23:35, 30 March 2008 (UTC) —Preceding unsigned comment added by 121.97.103.249 (talk)
Impossible to know for sure at this point; they haven't even started filming with it. If the starting city is accurate though both the racers and the locals between Graceland and Memphis International need to be very careful, statisicaly Memphis was in the top 5 worst drivers for a major city several years running when I lived there. [edit] Real spoiler

There's a race spoiler which it actually would be start this month. -- 07:06, April 24, 2008 (UTC)

I found the real spoiler at realityfanforum website. It was actually started in Los Angeles last April 22nd, two teams were spotted (2 blondies in pink and a young male/male team). -- 07:51, April 25, 2008 (UTC) —Preceding unsigned comment added by 125.212.13.237 (talk)
Another spoiler has surfaced in which a team has been photographed at Chicago's O-Hare airport on the night of April 22nd. Based on RFF (Reality Fan Forum)'s deductions based on flight combinations, it is very likely that The Amazing Race 13's first destination is Sao Paolo, Brazil. Additionally, travel books in an airport book store on Argentina in LAX were missing. You can head to RFF for this information in its actual context. DanielTAR (talk) 10:33, 25 April 2008 (UTC)
A New Zealand production company was advertising for 20 Drivers/Production Assistants for three days (April 30, May 1 and 2) - a fairly unusual request, seems very likely to have been TAR. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 118.90.104.215 (talk) 10:09, 14 May 2008 (UTC)
Any content from forum will be disallow, question about WP:RS, until it confirmed by CBS itself. --Aleenf1 10:40, 25 April 2008 (UTC)
You really should improve your English language. But anyway, I'm/we're not uploading the forum info on the wiki page itself, only discussing and letting those who wanna know about it, know, from this discussion page. What...? Is that against WikiPolicy as well? DanielTAR (talk) 11:38, 25 April 2008 (UTC)
Yes, my English is worse, thank you, DanielTAR. Well, keep on topic, man. Talk page should not be use as forum, that is against policy. It could be use to talk about sources, but not for race sightings like what it did in forum. --Aleenf1 15:39, 25 April 2008 (UTC)
The note above referenced a source at a website. I don't see any problem with that here on the Talk page; people here can then discuss if the article shoudl be changed or not. No need to be a WikiCop! 67.43.136.126 (talk) 00:33, 11 May 2008 (UTC)
Yeah, all that is from forum, that is not a reliable source. --Aleenf1 08:40, 11 May 2008 (UTC)
Reality Fan Forum is valid enough for me; they have even been complimented by more "reliable" news sources for having tracked racers as they race. Maybe you should at least take a peek at it before you go around declaring it to be "unreliable". Hooky6 (talk) 22:15, 17 May 2008 (UTC)
Forums do not have any editorial screening; thus they are never accepted as reliable sources. --Madchester (talk) 01:08, 18 May 2008 (UTC)
I have been looking on, and Aleen and Madchester are right. Hooky6, it doesn't matter that one of the sources that printed it is reliable. Where the information originates decides whether it is reliable info or not. And 67.43.136.126, just a source from a website doesn't cut it. RS RS RS! And, being a WikiCop (aka adhering to policy) is a good thing. Shapiros10 Came Back! 00:50, 25 May 2008 (UTC)

[edit] Portland, Oregon

From Reality TV World, to The Oregonian then Willamette Week about finale in Portland, Oregon. However, the final source, which covered by Willamette Week, was took from an anonymous blog post, which is at the end violate the reliable sources policy, so is not verifiable! --Aleenf1 06:18, 19 May 2008 (UTC)

The Oregonian, a long established paper in Portland reported on the filming rumours. Normally, it would be considered a reliable source but A) it was in the form of a blog entry and B) the author never made any definitive statement on whether filming actually took place. --Madchester (talk) 22:21, 21 May 2008 (UTC)
