[edit] Genre and Etc.
Leyasu, most of your edits I can understand, excluding only a few. This is the main one.
The Adversary is NOT a prog metal album, nor is Emperor a prog metal band. The original article clearly stated that this album was a mix of extreme metal genres with a progressive edge, not a mix heavy metal genres rooted in the progressive metal of later Emperor works. I am going to assume you haven't heard this album.
Ok, I am going to explain what I can to you, and if you still disagree, PLEASE message me and wait for a reply BEFORE reverting. It works better that way, rather than a revert before I can even consider what you have to say.
Ok, this album has clear and mixed styles from death, black, thrash, proto-black (mercyful fate) and etc., which all fall under Extreme Metal. On top of that, there is a highly evident progressive edge given of by the album, but it is still an extreme metal album. Thus the fusion genre "Extreme Power Metal" is given. This name was taken from the Metal-Archives page and I know that isn't a source, however, it IS the best way to describe this album, and fits much better than Prog Metal, which is NOT true. This should make sense, so I don't expect you to message me about it, but you know, if you have any suggestions just message me and I'll consider them. Thanks for understanding. --Ryouga 04:39, 17 April 2006 (UTC)
- Neatened article + genre in a better way then before. Should be 99% ok now. --Ryouga 00:57, 28 April 2006 (UTC)
