From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
The 12 cellists are actually 13 people!!!
12? If you visit the website of the 12 Cellists of the Berlin Philharmonic you will soon learn better. The case with the ensemble is exactly the reverse of the pirate crew in Michael Ende’s book Jim Knopf and the Wild 13. Packing of the celli for the flight to Taiwan, 2002The “13” pirates couldn’t count and there were only 12 of them. The “12” Cellists can count, but there are in fact 13 of them.
