THE...Kopanoi (Greek: "THE...ΚΟΠΑΝΟΙ") is a 1987 comedy movie, directed by and starring Giorgos Konstadinou. The movie also stars a bunch of famous actors such as Markos Lezes, Yannis Vouros, Kostas Palios, and Giorgos Petrohilos. Today the movie has reached cult classic status for its memorable quotes and it is regarded as the ultimate Greek comedy from the 1980s cinema period.

- Leonidas (Giorgos Konstadinou) is the main character of the movie. A real loser waiting orders from his boss (Babis) about his next plan for a bank. He must create a "gang" to do the job, only to prove later in the film that they are unable to close a single casket...
- Toufas (Markos Lezes) is a black belt martial art master, who gets beaten real badly the last time he worked with Leonidas for Babis. Being not excited with the idea of robbing a bank he will finally join the "gang".
- Mickey (Yannis Vouros) is a thief. He is specialized for stealing cars. Leonidas is keen admired of his abilities, because Mickey has never been not a single day to prison. He spend most of his time at the discotheques.
- Doukas (Kostas Palios) is a gambler. A true gentleman who spends all the day playing cards, making it easy to find him. He always leaves the table as winner by cheating. His bodyguard holds a key role at this part...
- Gogo (Giorgos Petrohilos) is Mickey’s friend from the discotheque. Despite he was not included in Leonidas list at first time, he will finally join the team and agreed to take a share from the bank.
- Fouskas (Kostas Makedos) is the fat bodyguard working for Doukas. He gets beaten as usual earlier in the film by three angry gamblers. Later he represents Doukas in the bank and tries unsuccessfully to take the money...
