Survivor 10: The Caribbean is the first season of the Israeli version of the American Reality TV show "Survivor", shot during June and July, 2007, in Los Haitises National Park, Dominican Republic. It was produced by Reyif HeMeiri production company, with an approximated budget of $5,000,000. It is broadcasted on the Channel 10.

The show was criticized profusely by viewers, the media, and contestants for intervening in the game unfairly and for changing the format extensively for the production of numerous long episodes. The original U.S. series broadcasts 15 episodes per season. Each episode is 43 minutes long; the Israeli version broadcasts 40 episodes per season. Each episode is 60 minutes long or longer, and does not necessarily end with a tribal council elimination.

The Sole Survivor was Na'ama Kasri, who defeated Noam Tor and Dan Mano in the final tribal council by a 5-4-0 vote. Na'ama received the grand prize of 645,000₪ in cash and an off-road car.

Auditions for the second season started on February, 2008, and it will be filmed throughout June and July. It's expected to be aired from December, 2008 to May, 2009. The channel's representatives visited possible locations in Central America and Africa, but there was no official announcement about the second season's location yet.

Although the main format is the same, a few differences were notable between the Israeli and the American versions:

Filming length
The American version was filmed during 39 days, and the Israeli version was filmed during 52 days.

Double-Power Challenge
The double-power challenge is an individual challenge, which is played after the Immunity challenge. Every person going to Tribal Council had to compete, and the winner of the challenge won an additional power at Tribal Council.
- In Episodes 1-5, and from Episode 11, the winner of the challenge could vote twice at tribal council for two contestants⁵.
- In Episodes 6-8, the Double-Power Challenge winner won Individual Immunity.
- In Episodes 9 and 10, the winner chose two contestants who couldn't vote at Tribal Council.

Island of the Dead
The Israeli version introduced the Island of the Dead. Every person voted out is brought to the island, and had to compete with the person already staying there, for the right to stay on the island for at least another three days. When only three contestants remained, the winner of the last battle of the island returned.

Airing format
Most episodes of the American version have thirteen episodes, dependent on the number of participants, generally with one episode for every three days. The Israeli version had 36 episodes, with two episodes for every three days. At the first episode of the week, the Reward and Immunity Challenges were aired, and in the second, the Double-Power Challenge, Island of the Dead battle and Tribal Council was aired. On two occasions, the Tribal council wasn't aired at the second episode, but at the start of the next week's first episode.

Final Four
The last three to stay on the island, together with the Island of the dead winner, assembled the final four. The four competed in two immunity challenges before going to tribal council. In tribal council, for the first time, the jury voted, together with the immunity necklaces holders. The results of this tribal council and the final tribal council, was filmed in a fortification next to Herzelia. The reunion was filmed in Nokia Arena, Tel Aviv and was aired live.

^2 In episode 7, the tribes were changed to "Men vs. Women" tribes. The women got back to Sabana's camp, and got the red color. The men got back to Jibaro's camp, and got the blue color. Although the colors of their tribes was changed, the contestants kept their buffs.
Before the immunity challenge, the host announced one of the Men's tribe members will move to the Women's tribe, to even things out. That person was chosen by number of double-power challenges won, and as Dan won 2 challenges, he was moved to the Women's tribe.
^3 Episode 7's tribal council was a double-elimination tribal council. One member of each old tribe (Sabana & Jibaro) was voted out. After the tribal council, the tribes changed back to Sabana and Jibaro.
^4 For the episode 12 double-power challenge, the contestants were divided to four pairs. The winning pair, Dan and Marina, competed within themselves for the win. Dan won the double-power challenge, but both him and Marina won a phone call home.
^5 Episodes 12, 14 and 15's double power challenge winner could vote twice in tribal council for the same contestant, and not for two contestants.
