[edit] Episode Listing

Season One

The Helena, now captained by her former first officer, Theresa Faisal, is commissioned to explore the newly revealed frontiers previously hidden by the Briar Patch. But not all is well in the wake of the destruction of the Dyson Sphere, and a surprising discovery may lead to deadly consequences.

  • HC 1.01 - 01/01/08 "Sanctuary Lost"
The Odyssey has been lost in the Andromeda Galaxy, and information on the fate of the missing members of the R'Kag's crew is a shattered mirror of misdirection, bad information, and rumors of death. Thanks to the efforts of Commander Jorian Dao and Commander Robin Lefler, all is not lost. But something strange is brewing in the newly revealed recesses of the formerly hidden frontier of the Briar Patch that has suddenly taken center stage -- and it could lead to a lethal showdown with a never-before encountered lifeform! [2]
  • HC 1.02 - 03/19/08 "Obsessions"
Loyalties and friendships are tested to the breaking point as Aster's obsession with finding a way to get Ro home has caused a rift within the command staff aboard Helena. But that's the least of their worries, as the Orions have managed to obtain a Thalaron device and seem to be putting it up for bid to the highest paying customer at a well-known haunt of Helena's former captain. Meanwhile, Captain Johns deals with the realities of becoming a Commanding Officer in the wake of his former captain's death and grapples with the costs of making decisions that could cost his crew their lives. And as Dr. Ness begins stepping up his pressure upon Faisal to place Aster into a psychiatric facility for his own safety, Faisal begins to wonder if she has let her friendship get in the way of what's best for Corey to cope with the loss of his husband. At the end of the episode, the USS Helena and her crew were labeled as traitors to Starfleet and were threatened with the whole Fleet (Starfleet) going after them when Faisal refused to surrender the USS Helena and be escorted back to DS12.
