Ragnarok: The Age of Fire and Gravel

Ragnarok: The Age of Fire and Gravel is a book by Minnesota politician Ignatius L. Donnelly published in 1883. It is a companion to the more well-known work Atlantis: The Antediluvian World.

In it, Donnelly proposes that a comet or asteroid impacted the Earth tens of thousands of years ago, destroying an advanced culture which has been preserved in myths as Atlantis and other, similar, destroyed lands.
