[edit] Fair use images

I removed the images in the selected article and picture sections, as they are a violation of Wikipedia's fair use policy. Please remember that fair use images can only be used in the article main spaces (the main page though is an exception)--TBC (aka Tree Biting Conspiracy) 12:18, 10 June 2006 (UTC)

What, pray tell, is the difference between an image being used on the front page (which is basically the "Wikipedia portal") and on the Beatles Portal (which is basically our WikiProject's "front page"). I can't see any difference whatsoever, other than the namespace - but as a non enyclopedia article the Wikipedia front page probably shouldn't be in main space anyway, and putting it there doesn't affect its copyright status as far as I can see. The front page is a portal, and so is this. --kingboyk 10:36, 11 June 2006 (UTC)

[edit] Time for an update

It's time to switch the featured and article and picture anyway, so if somebody would like to make a selection and change it please go right ahead. --kingboyk 10:37, 11 June 2006 (UTC)

[edit] Pilzkopf

Hi, here's a question for you Beatles-Experts and Fans from the UK, the USA and Canada, that came up in a discussion. How well - if at all - known is the German nickname Pilzkopf for the Beatles in your countries? Thanks for your help! --84.142.243.207 16:19, 7 June 2007 (UTC)

  • Personally, this is the first I have heard of them being called that but I wouldn't call myself an expert.Kalleythenowhereman (talk) 12:56, 14 March 2008 (UTC)

[edit] The Nowhere Man

Is the article about the boob necessary? Young Fred and other characters are just as essential to the plot yet, they have no article. I realize this may not be the best place to put this but I figured this was the quickest way to get it seen 209.163.226.47 (talk) 13:00, 3 April 2008 (UTC)
