[edit] Plot
The graphic novel starts with Michael J. Roscoe, Head of Roscoe Electronics. As he walks into the elevator, on his way to lunch, He was tricked by the projected picture of the elevator and he falls to the ground.
Then we can see Alex Rider talking to Sabina Pleasure, talking about Alex's previous mission Stormbreaker, and how Sabina still thinks that Alex is a spy. Then Sabina changes the subject to the man known as Skoda and the fact that he is a drug dealer. Alex says goodbye to Sabina and decides to see what Skoda is up to. He notices he lives on a barge. A mist picture can be seen of Sabina saying "Somebody should do something about him". Alex thinks he should call the police, until he sees a crane and has an idea. After passing the builders saying that he is going to see his "father", he gets into the crane and starts to lift the boat. Alex decides to "drop them off" in the Metropolitan Police station and crashes the boat into the station. Alex is then caught and taken to prison for the night. He's taken out of Prison by the people of MI6, which is a spy co-operation, where he is told that he will be investigating Roscoe death.
The rest of the graphic novel follows the story of the real book, Point Blanc.
[edit] Front Cover
Walker Books had given the Graphic Novel two covers, one American and one English. There is only one difference between them, Alex's hair is spiked (his normal look) and the other one is where he has had almost all his hair removed (which is the look he was given when he became Alex Friend).
[edit] Trivia
- Point Blanc is a french term for "White Point", which can be meant by the school being on top of a mountain filled with snow. This was mentioned in the hardback and the graphic novel.
