Play: The B Sides is an album by the musician Moby. It was originally bundled in a limited edition box set in 2000 with Moby's previously acclaimed album, Play, but later released separately on July 27, 2004.

Play: The B Sides is a compilation of tracks that Moby had decided not to include in Play. He explains, "The B-Sides is a collection of songs that weren't quite appropriate for Play, but that I still love enough to release as B-sides. Some of these songs might not be instantly accessible, but I (immodestly) think they are all quite special."^[1] A few of the album's songs are somewhat similar to the ones found in Play, but the tracks were criticized as inferior. Moby realized this and even admitted that if not for the overwhelming success of Play, the songs would not have gotten a wide release.^[2] It is interesting to note that at least five more B-sides were released on various singles from "Play" but were not included on this release.
