[edit] Continuity errors

  • Star Catcher - Star Catcher appears in some scenes, but is animated without wings, like a regular earth Pony. However, in the scene just before Spike is introduced, she is seen in the air, hovering on thin, gossamer wings.

[It had previously been listed that Thistle Whistle, a blue pegasus who appeared in one shot, Island Delight, a purple pegasus who appeared in one shot, and Coconut Grove, a pink pegasus appearing in two shots, could not have been there canonically because Star Catcher is the only one to have been to Ponyville at the time. However, that entry ignored the fact that Dancing in the Clouds (2004 - VHS with Star Catcher figure), Friends Are Never Far Away (2005 - DVD with Hidden Treasure figure), and A Very Minty Christmas (2005) had been released before The Princess Promenade (2006). This means that by the time of this film Ponyville has been visited by the pegasus ponies from Butterfly Island at least twice (three times including Star Catcher's solo visit in Dancing in the Clouds.)]Coconut Grove could have possibly apperared almost at the end (Middle-Part) Where she was in the talking place with wings.

In the Bonus Feature "Pinkie Pie's Ladybug Jamboree", Fiesta Flair (yellow and red) is backstage playing the maracas, but at showtime she is mysteriously replaced by Forsythia (red and yellow). Fiesta shows up in the audience.
