Michael Jackson: The Legend Continues is a 1988 documentary by Showtime about the music career of superstar Michael Jackson. The 50-minute documentary is narrated by James Earl Jones.

The program begins with 3 Jackson fans who have won an MTV competition to meet Michael Jackson. The documentary is carried out in the sense that the fans are talking about the highlights of Michael's music career. Topics covered include The Jackson 5's discovery, the Motown era, the move to CBS Records, and all the way until Michael Jackson's "Bad" era. The program features many clips from the Jackson 5's many guest appearances on American TV Shows such as The Ed Sullivan Show, and American Bandstand. Highlights also include the extended coverage of the Motown 25 special, and a performance of Heartbreak Hotel from the Japanese and Australian legs of Michael Jackson's Bad World Tour in 1987. It has been released on video.
