This is an image of Ernie Roth a.k.a. Abdullah Farouk, The Grand Wizard of Wrestling, who lived from 1929 to 1983. It is from one of Pro Wrestling Illustrated's predecessor magazines, hosted at the World Wrestling Entertainment Hall of Fame website with PWI's permission. The image is undated by either PWI or WWE, but it is assumed that it is from 1972 or 1973, photographer unknown. See copyrights below. The image is hosted here. The exact image URL is here.

This image has been modified from its originally uploaded version, located here. The image has been altered to remove white borders on the left and right hand sides of the image and desaturated from the modified version to restore its black-and-white color profile current version.
