The Mission is a novel by Hans Habe, based on events at the Evian Conference at which he was present as a foreign correspondent in 1938. I, (Kraxler, scanned the cover. The book was originally written in German as Die Mission (1965). The English translation was first published in Great Britain by George G. Harrap & Co. Limited in 1966. This cover belongs to the re-edition in 1967 by Panther Books Ltd., 1-3 Upper James Street, London W.1, book number 2231. The book was printed in England by Hunt Barnard & Co. Ltd., At the Sign of the Dolphin, Aylesbury, Bucks. The cover artist is not mentioned.
