Ghetto Music: The Blueprint of Hip Hop is the third album from Boogie Down Productions. The album was certified Gold by the RIAA on September 25, 1989. Nas made a reference to this album on his diss track against Jay-Z, "Ether," stating that KRS-One made "The Blueprint" first. Jay-Z's 2001 album was entitled The Blueprint.
