[edit] Plot

Kaitou Kid wants to steal a prized egg from the Suzuki Corporation, originally belonging to Nicholas II of Russia. They ask Kogoro for help. But when Kid got the egg and flies off with it, he is shot in the right eye. And later, other people seem to be shot as well, and all victims were shot in the right eye. The police and Conan believe that the killer is Scorpion - a famous killer who always shoots his victims in the right eye. Conan has the feeling that "Shiratori" might know his identity, and Ran also believes that Conan is Shin'ichi. At the end, Conan deducts Scorpion as one of the accompanying people, Seiran the Historian. She shot in the right eye to avenge her ancestor, Rasputin, whose body was found with an eye missing. She attempts her last bullet at him, but the bullet is reflected by the bulletproof glass on Conan's glasses installed by the professor. As Conan kicks a piece of rubble, she reloads and is about to fire when a playing card knocks the gun out of her hands. Conan then knocks her out with the rubble. Shiratori then appears and carries Seiran out. Conan figures the "Shiratori" was really Kid in disguise. In the end, Conan is about to confess to Ran that he's Shin'ichi, but then Kid comes, disguised as Shin'ichi...
