[edit] reply about origin of light article

I appreciate that you are just trying to promote your book, but you may reconsider if an encyclopedia is the best place to do that. Please see Wikipedia:Vanity guidelines. Basically the standard for inclusion in wikipedia is that the article can be verified. Since you are the author of the book, there is no outside verification. If you could direct us to some outside reviews of your book that would be a start. But according to our guidelines you really should not be writing any articles about yourself or anything you have a vested interest in. To do so might appear to violate Wikipedia:NPOV even if you try to be neutral. Wikipedia is an encyclopedia, not an advertising service. You will merit an article in here once you become famous enough for others to want to write an article about you and can cite professional reviews of your work.

You might also want to consider a different publisher. Vanity presses can take many forms. Some will charge you up front to produce your works. Others like Author mills do not charge you up front but will not spend any money on you either. That type rely on selling the books back to the authors to make their money. Publish America has been sued by authors for not making their books available to bookstores even when the stores want to purchase them. They have also admitted that they make most of their money off selling the books back to the authors. If you are good enough there is no reason for you to subject yourself to shady publishers like this. You might want to check out Small Publishers, Artists, and Writers Network and List of small presses. Good luck. Nowimnthing 16:15, 13 August 2006 (UTC)

[edit] Orphaned fair use image (Image:Copy (2) of 1424104998.jpg)

Thanks for uploading Image:Copy (2) of 1424104998.jpg. The image description page currently specifies that the image is non-free and may only be used on Wikipedia under a claim of fair use. However, the image is currently orphaned, meaning that it is not used in any articles on Wikipedia. If the image was previously in an article, please go to the article and see why it was removed. You may add it back if you think that that will be useful. However, please note that images for which a replacement could be created are not acceptable under fair use (see our fair use policy).

If you have uploaded other unlicensed media, please check whether they're used in any articles or not. You can find a list of 'image' pages you have edited by clicking on the "my contributions" link (it is located at the very top of any Wikipedia page when you are logged in), and then selecting "Image" from the dropdown box. Note that any fair use images not used in any articles will be deleted after seven days, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. Thank you.
