[edit] Simulation graphics

I am totally satisfied with you that simulation means virtual reality. But I want a big note on how simulation is concerned specially with the computer graphics.Amit bit2009 (talk) 11:25, 21 March 2008 (UTC)

[edit] Jason Williams (rugby league player born 1966)

I find it bizarre that you have placed a tag on this page, you're more than welcome to re-work the language. You appear to have a name that is not native to the British Isles so I don't think it would be too much to question your command of the English language if you are having trouble reading the players article.Londo06 15:47, 23 March 2008 (UTC)

Hey, It says on my page that, that name is not my real name. I don't want to give my real name out on wikipedia for privacy reasons. I was born and bred in England, as was everybody above me in my family for millions of years. Have you considered reading WP:MOS. – i123Pie biocontribs 15:53, 23 March 2008 (UTC)
Good to hear, as per previous edit that you were considering reading WP:MOS.Londo06 15:56, 23 March 2008 (UTC)
That was a typo, Jason Williams (rugby league player born 1966) hardly qualifies for WP:MOS. – i123Pie biocontribs 16:08, 23 March 2008 (UTC)

[edit] Speedy deletion of Test123

Thank you for experimenting with Wikipedia. Your test worked, and the page that you created has been or soon will be deleted. Please use the sandbox for any other tests you want to do. Take a look at the welcome page if you would like to learn more about contributing to our encyclopedia

If you think that this notice was placed here in error, you may contest the deletion by adding {{hangon}} to the top of the page (just below the existing speedy deletion or "db" tag), coupled with adding a note on the talk page explaining your position, but be aware that once tagged for speedy deletion, if the article meets the criterion it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but don't hesitate to add information to the article that would would render it more in conformance with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. Lastly, please note that if the article does get deleted, you can contact one of these admins to request that a copy be emailed to you. hateless 17:52, 26 March 2008 (UTC)

Yeah, you do that it was a test i was gunna' remove it anyway. Thanks. :-) – i123Pie biocontribs 17:57, 26 March 2008 (UTC)
Done. Are you trying out Friendly? Next time you'd like to test something, please do so in the Sandbox. If you do a lot of testing, you can create a sandbox of your own in userspace—just create User:i123Pie/Sandbox. Best, Fvasconcellos (t·c) 18:00, 26 March 2008 (UTC)
Well, Friendly don't work in the Wikipedia: namespace. I was gunna place the {{db-test}} tag anyway. – i123Pie biocontribs 21:56, 26 March 2008 (UTC)
I'm quite sure it works in the User namespace—a Sandbox of your own isn't a bad idea, you know :) It can be very useful. Fvasconcellos (t·c) 12:58, 27 March 2008 (UTC)
No, the "Tag" Tab only shows in the article/Main namespace. So. – i123Pie biocontribs 16:57, 27 March 2008 (UTC)

[edit] Your comment on my talk page...

...has been reverted as vandalism. I am a long-time editor in good standing. If you consider my actions to be bad faith, I will recommend that you please post on an appropriate notice board, such as WP:ANI. Yngvarr (c) 18:49, 28 March 2008 (UTC)

Nevermind, as I've taken it upon myself to file a report [1] Yngvarr (c) 18:57, 28 March 2008 (UTC)
That just put you even further into the dark. – i123Pie biocontribs 19:00, 28 March 2008 (UTC)
You should familiarize yourself with WP:BLANKING, not to mention WP:HAR. --Cheeser1 (talk) 19:03, 28 March 2008 (UTC)
It was not vandalism, you should have told him about WP:MOS, thats all I was trying to tell you. I would like to say sorry. – i123Pie biocontribs 19:10, 28 March 2008 (UTC)
I was going to shut up, and withdraw. My statements were made, but I will make one last posting. I'd suggest to review WP:VAND with the different types of vandalism. Then review the article in question. This was a systematic attack, there was not a single constructive edit to the article in question. They did not use the "Edit this page" at the top of the screen. The editor had to deliberately press the "Edit" button, next to each section, and proceeded to remove each and every wikilink. Yngvarr (c) 19:14, 28 March 2008 (UTC)
But, he/she did not know about wikimarkup. Apology accepted? – i123Pie biocontribs 19:17, 28 March 2008 (UTC)
Yes, I will accept your apology, and I will apologize as well, for going overboard. I disagree with your assessment, that this incident was not vandalism. I will strike my posting a ANI. Yngvarr (c) 19:19, 28 March 2008 (UTC)
Thank you. – i123Pie biocontribs 19:26, 28 March 2008 (UTC)
For what it's worth, WP:DTTR, which is what caused my reaction. It's considered bad form to template regular editors (I have over 6k edits in over a year of registered editing). Yngvarr (c) 19:28, 28 March 2008 (UTC)

[edit] Unity - The Secret

If you are familiar with the subject matter you must already know Unity, Religious Science and Divine Science are part of the New Thought movement. I'm puzzled. You can look it up on Wiki. 66.108.106.238 (talk) 22:30, 5 April 2008 (UTC)

Oh, OK I'll take your word for that. Sorry for any trouble. – i123Pie biocontribs 22:33, 5 April 2008 (UTC)
I looked up the references which were already in the article and read them. The references which state unity is in fact part of the New Thought movement. So in fact the proof was already referenced at the end of the sentence ref>16. I needed to read them myself. Thanks. 66.108.106.238 (talk) 02:32, 6 April 2008 (UTC)
OK, then. Sorry. – i123Pie biocontribs 10:14, 6 April 2008 (UTC)
I have restored the line in question back to the original straight quote. I find that in the referenced Illuminati article, neither "Religious Science" nor "Divine Science" are mentioned as specific churches the "Secret Teachers" visit. - Len Raymond (talk) 21:11, 6 April 2008 (UTC)

You will be able to use Twinkle again in five days' time, when the protection on your monobook.js expires. If you'd like it back sooner, feel free to leave Nick a message to that effect, but you'd better make a good case :) Once you do have it back, please be more careful with drive-by tagging and accusations of vandalism. This issue is resolved, you may re-add TW when the protection on your monobook.js expires. Please note, do not classify edits as vandalism when they are not and do not abuse wikiEd for this purpose [2]. Thanks, GDonato (talk) 18:19, 10 April 2008 (UTC)

Try this:

importScript('User:Omegatron/monobook.js/floatingSidebar.js'); /* Make the sidebar stay in position while content scrolls */

and if you like the personal links as a sidebar:

importScript('User:Omegatron/monobook.js/personalSidebar.js'); /* Move the personal links into the sidebar */

[edit] User page copyright template

"Be aware that this user does not wish to have his userpage copied on any other website and will sue them." - I've deleted the template you created for your userpage, sort of in accordance with WP:LEGAL and because it's wrong. When you created your userpage, and indeed that template, you agreed to licence all of your contributions under the WP:GFDL licence. That's a free licence which lets any third party site use your userpage for whatever purpose they want, provided they meet certain licencing terms, mainly attribution and provide a copy of the licence. This means anybody can use your work for any purpose, including making money and they can change everything if they so desire. If you don't wish your userpage to be used in this manner, please mark it for deletion and an administrator will delete it. If you have the some concerns over the content you contribute, you should consider ceasing editing Wikipedia. If you have any further questions about the GFDL licence and how this impacts your contributions, please don't hesitate to contact me. Nick (talk) 00:14, 9 April 2008 (UTC)

Hi ThatWikiGuy. What is going on here? Your monobook.js is protected but there is no entry in the protection log and a bot that lists editprotected requests states that your monobook.js is protected "by magic" (I guess that just means it didn't find an entry in the log). And it is not a case of cascading protection. Normally users' monobook.js pages can only be edited by themselves and by admins. So usually the only reason to protect such pages is that the user himself has abused the page. So, do you know anything about why your page is protected? (Have you abused your page?)
And since I have no idea what the javascript code you want added does I dare not add it. So I'll leave this {{editprotected}} up and let's see if some more experienced admin comes by that can handle it. If nothing is done in some day contact me or ask at Wikipedia:Administrators' noticeboard.
