I wasn't sure where to write about 'permissions' (so I had written it as a footnote along with Cariappa's Image). I asked Seetal (Admin of bharat-rakshak.com) specifically for permission which was granted willingly. So unless I get a reversal on that, this shouldn't be an issue. --Robins 08:16, 29 December 2005 (UTC)

Postgres does not support bitmap indexes in any released version, contrary to your edit. Bitmap index scans (supported since 8.1) and on-disk bitmap indexes have very little in common. Neilc 06:34, 6 December 2006 (UTC)
