Mark (born January 11, 1982) in Beaumont, Texas and now living in Northern Virginia joined the Wikipedia community on November 11, 2006 however, I had been an anonomous contibutor and increasingly frequent user of Wikipedia reference over the last couple years.
[edit] Introduction
I think wikipedia is the best product of Web 2.0 (user managed content), a great community and should not let itself go like xanga, myspace, youtube, or anything other web community that allows users to "pimp" its contents or post anything.
[edit] Personal Life
I married my wife Rebecca on September 24, 2005 in Topeka, Kansas. The rest of my immediate family lives southwest of Chicago, Illinois, where I spent the majority of my childhood.
[edit] Education
I graduated from Joliet Junior College in 2002 with a CA Network Specialist. I'm a Microsoft Certified Professional and Network Certified.
[edit] Career
Less than a year after graduating I started volunteer work at Institute in Basic Life Principles in Oak Brook, Illinois, Where I worked for just over two years.
I currently work as a Systems Administrator/IT Engineer for General Dynamics Advanced Information Systems in Northern Virginia.
