User:That's Just It

From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

"That's Just It" is a phrase that I hear thrown around when people confirm an explanation and provide a ramification of said explanation. This may be localized to northern New England, but it was the first thing to come to mind when I thought of epistemology and a Wikipedia login.

Stupid example:

Person A: "So when people do this, they're really doing that."

Person B: "That's just it, but when they do that, ..."

Often heard many times a day in an office in Hawthorn, Australia.

    • Warning ** Repetitive use of this phrase may cause harmful tendencies to develop by those in hearing distance. This includes a uncontrollable feeling of leaning forward and driving your forehead into your desk.
