Thatta Muhammad Shah is a town of Jhang District on the bank of river Chenab in the Punjab province of Pakistan located at the Jhang-Chiniot road.
The Shah Daultana Sayyads descendants of Hazrat Sher Shah Jalal Bukhari (Surkh posh) have their hold here and the town itself is named after an ancestor of the Sayyads currently situated there. The famous personalities of the town include late Syed Shaukat Ali Bukhari (Joint secretary National Assembly of Pakistan), Syed Wajid Ali Bukhari (Director Trade Development Authority of Pakistan), Syed Muhammad Aun Ali Bukhari (Journalist Cnbc Pakistan), Syed Amjad Taqi (Nazim)
